“Continuing ancient traditions of healing by soothing hearts, minds, souls and bodies”

Te Amokura Centre for Wholeness and Total Wellbeing offers professional training, workshops, wānanga, and presentations that promote balance, excellence, holistic and integrative wellbeing, and the unfurling of our inherent potentials, gifts and strengths.

When we are in balance and alignment with ourselves and others, we naturally work smarter not harder to achieve creative and transformational outcomes in all areas of our personal and professional lives.

Te Amokura’s professional services represent a unique methodology and synergy developed from years of lived and professional experience, training, and research in both the world of Original Māori life-systems, knowledge and healing, and also professional research and practice in the areas of psychology, intensive therapeutic work, facilitation, and social work.

In order to prioritise the holistic and integrative health and wellbeing of all people, and the natural world, Te Amokura promotes synergistic alignments between Indigenous life-worlds, values, beliefs, knowledge, and practices, and Western values, beliefs, knowledge, and practices.

Consistent with Te Amokura’s holistic integrative approach, the professional development programmes, wānanga, and presentations, incorporate the appropriate use of Māori ancestral gifts and music.

While all workshops and wānanga arise from and represent contemporary scholarship and research embedded in Indigenous world-views, knowledge and systems, they can responsively differ to meet the needs of each particular group.
